Pi Durable is an experimental harness from Earendil for building long-running, crash-resilient agentic applications on any JavaScript runtime.
It recovers from process deaths via checkpointed tasks, uses pluggable storage backends (memory, SQLite, JSONL), and abstracts execution environments for cross-machine tool calls. One harness instance runs multiple concurrent conversations, including forked threads, without blocking.
