Exo is a Docker-based AI agent harness that performs coding, research, and computer use tasks while recursively editing its own code, prompts, tooling, and policy at runtime.

It connects via CLI or web chat and integrates with IRC, Discord, WhatsApp, Signal, or Slack. An immutable event log prevents recursive loops, and the system can clone itself and manage a lineage of agent instances.
