HybridAgents alternates between latent reasoning and text-based tool interaction via a HybridLink component, with continuous working memory preserving context across turns.

Post-training uses HybridSFT to coordinate the backbone with HybridLink and HybridRL to learn when to reason in latent space versus act through text. Evaluated at three model scales across 11 benchmarks, it reports 10.4% performance gains, 35.5–54.7% token reduction, and 2.7x–3.7x cost savings over frontier text-based and latent agents.
